How do you integrate an extensive wine catalogue with a bespoke, mobile friendly website?
Design and develop a mobile friendly website for reputable wine merchant and integrate with wine database.
Founded in 1822, Ellis of Richmond is a reputable independent wine merchant, with a catalogue of over 800 wines, representing 40 producers globally.
The existing website was difficult to update and was not usable on smartphone devices.
Figment produced a bespoke design, using the warm tones and a clean layout and navigation for excellent user experience.
A tool was built to bridge the wine inventory (Vintner) with the content management system (WordPress). The wine section serves as a fully searchable resource with ability to create PDF documents. This saves sales agents time in finding wine data when on the road.
Thanks to the introduction of a news and blog section and mobile friendly newsletter, Ellis can now communicate effectively and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
