How do you improve your online ROI and increase visitor conversions?

The Brief

Foreign Currency Direct plc is a leading independent currency brokers. We were asked to perform a website audit after the in-house expert had left the company.

The Story

We started by analysing the site stats; a bounce rate of over 80% and a low conversion rate were just the start of the issues. We uncovered a host of online account managers handling projects disjointedly and delivering little value across organic search optimisation, site usability and pay per click advertising campaigns.

Our recommendations included closing supplier accounts that weren’t delivering a return and we put an oversee plan in place to monitor supplier performance.

We created a series of suggestions to tackle website usability and simplification. By slimming the navigation and carving up the home page to clearly distinguish separate journeys for private and corporate clients, the visitor experience was streamlined. By migrating the site to a simpler content management system and providing training, we’ve made it easier for the client to update the site themselves, giving them more control.

The Result

The website re-development has led to increased enquiries. We were appointed as FCD’s web masters and now continually monitor, improve and quality manage third party suppliers. Our work has resulted in a greater return on investment (ROI) and much improved online performance.
