So, in 2015, we took the company’s tired look and gave it a big wax and polish, complete with an upmarket rebrand for visual appeal, and a bespoke online quote and booking system to tick that all-important user experience box.
Now the business was ready with firm foundations to start revving up the search engine results pages.

When it comes to getting noticed online, there’s nothing to beat top Google rankings. And these were exactly what we set our sights on.
Following our 6R process, a proven core strategy that underpins everything we do SEO-wise, we came up with a no-holds-barred plan to get ZedCarZ roaring to success.
It all started with on-page optimisation, updating meta and header tags, improving keyword density and building internal links. Schema Markup was added to help boost click-throughs from search results, and a full technical sweep optimised the site for speed and structure so it ticked the all-important Core Web Vitals box. We also got to work on producing regular blogs.
The results were impressive. In just 12 months, ZedCarZ was riding high in search, with a huge 53 Google top 3 rankings, and 86 Google Page One positions.
And that wasn’t all. Local search rankings are incredibly important for a business that relies on nearby trade. So factoring in local SEO tactics was a must to secure ZedCarZ those crucial top spots in the Google Map Pack. Thanks to the likes of Google Business Profile optimisation and good reviews management, the business was enjoying as many as 25 top 3 positions in the Pack for a large number of mini cab related keywords.
