We are over the moon to report that Figment have recently been announced winners of the Digital, Marketing and Social Media Award at the Kingston Borough Business Awards 2021.

The Kingston Borough Business Awards (KBBA) were launched to celebrate the positive impact of local businesses across the borough of Kingston with credibility, independence and pride. They were also aimed at rewarding innovation, vitality and resilience after a tough couple of years.

Hosted by the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, headline sponsored by Kingston University London and supported by Kingston College and the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, the awards were judged by a panel of respected professional figures from the local business community.

More than 200 companies entered across the 14 categories, so we consider making it to the finals quite an achievement. Let alone winning!

The Digital marketing agency and Social Media category specifically recognised businesses that had been innovative and agile in these areas.

Judges were looking for organisations which could prove their campaigns had a measurable effect. They were seeking evidence of an outstanding campaign or project that made a significant impact, showing creativity and making a lasting impact.

In order to stand out amongst other entrants, we needed to demonstrate how our innovation led to results that surpassed the client’s brief. Thankfully, as achieving results that go beyond our clients’ expectations is one of our key aims, we were able to do just that.

On learning that Figment had won the award during the buzzing ceremony at All Saints Church in Kingston on 17th March 2022, I was thrilled yet surprised, as we had been up against some stiff competition. But our dedication to getting results for our clients won through and it was a proud moment as I collected our trophy, presented by Lucy Kane of Time & Leisure Magazines.
